Conference "Lessons learned from Germany's historical experience in the fight against disinformation", European Documentation Centre, University of Granada, 27 October 2026

The "DisinforAI" Research Project, in collaboration with the European Documentation Centre, is organizing the conference titled "Lessons learned from Germany's historical experience in the fight against disinformation," presented by Professor Björstjern Baade (Freie Universität Berlin).

In his presentation, which will be conducted entirely in English, Professor Baade will provide a historical overview of the fight against disinformation in Germany and its response to the various challenges and threats this issue has posed from a European perspective.

The session will be moderated by Professors Luis M. Hinojosa Martínez and Carmela Pérez Bernárdez, principal investigators of the DisinforAI Research Project.

The event will take place on October 27 at 18:00 in the Francisco A. Muñoz Auditorium (Salón de Actos) at the European Documentation Centre.

Admission is free until full capacity is reached.
